Comprehensive Policies and Patron Guidelines


Introduction

Welcome to MonteMar.

 By making a reservation, placing an order, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms have been designed to ensure a positive, safe, and smooth experience for both our patrons and our staff. Please read them carefully before visiting or using any of our services.

Reservations

· Reservation Policy: Reservations can be made online, over the phone, or in person. A valid contact number and/or email address must be provided at the time of booking.

· Reservation Confirmation: All reservations are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation message via email, SMS, or phone call.

· Late Arrivals: Please inform us if you are running late. We reserve the right to release your table if you arrive more than 15 minutes after your reservation time without prior notice.

· Group Bookings: For groups of 8 or more, a deposit or prepayment may be required. Please check with management for details.

· No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive without notice may result in cancellation of your reservation and a possible fee for larger groups.

Seating and Service

· Table Allocation: While we endeavor to honor specific table requests, we cannot guarantee any particular seating arrangement.

· Dining Duration: During peak periods, dining times may be limited to ensure all guests have an opportunity to dine with us. Please inquire when booking.

· Service Charge: A discretionary service charge may be applied to bills, particularly for larger parties. This will be clearly indicated on your bill.

Orders and Payment

· Menu Availability: All menu items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to change or update menu offerings at any time without prior notice.

· Special Dietary Requirements: Please inform your server of any allergies or dietary restrictions when ordering.

· Payment Methods: We accept cash and most major credit/debit cards. Checks are not accepted unless previously agreed upon with management.

· Split Bills: Split bills are available for groups upon request but may be subject to a service fee.

· Pricing Errors: In case of any pricing discrepancies, the price listed on the restaurant’s updated menu will prevail.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

· Individual Cancellations: Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to cancel your reservation.

· Group Cancellations: For reservations involving 8 or more guests, at least 48 hours’ notice is required for a full refund of any deposit paid.

· Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment and may take up to 7 business days.

· No Refunds: No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of any deposit or prepayment.

Conduct and Safety

· Dress Code: Please adhere to our smart casual dress code to ensure a comfortable atmosphere for all guests.

· Behavior: We expect all guests to treat staff and other patrons with respect. Aggressive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion.

· Children: Children are welcome but must remain under supervision at all times. High chairs and children’s menus are available upon request.

· Pets: Only service animals are permitted inside the premises, unless otherwise stated.

· Lost Property: The restaurant is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended. Please check before leaving.

· Accidents and Injuries: Please report any accidents or injuries to management immediately. We are not liable for injuries caused by negligence or failure to adhere to safety guidelines.

Food and Beverage Policy

· External Food and Drink: Outside food and drinks are not permitted unless previously approved for medical reasons or special occasions (e.g., birthday cake).

· Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol may only be consumed by guests of legal drinking age. We reserve the right to request identification and to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated.

Allergies and Health Considerations

· Allergen Disclosure: While we take care to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of allergens.

· Health and Safety: Our restaurant adheres to strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local health regulations.

· Special Requirements: Please communicate any special health requirements at the time of booking or ordering.

Event Bookings and Private Functions

· Private Events: The restaurant is available for private functions. A separate agreement outlining terms, deposits, and minimum spend may apply.

· Decorations: Decorations are permitted with prior approval. No confetti or open flames are allowed.

· Entertainment: Any entertainment must be approved by management and comply with local noise regulations.

Promotion and Loyalty Programs

· Promotional Offers: From time to time, we may offer promotions or discounts. These are subject to individual terms and cannot be combined unless specified.

Program Changes: We reserve the right to alter or discontinue promotional and discounts at any time.

Privacy Policy

· Personal Data: We collect and use personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available upon request or on our website.

· Third Parties: We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required by law or for the fulfillment of your reservation.

Liability

· Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the restaurant is not liable for losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services.

· Force Majeure: We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

· Amendments: We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted at the entrance of the restaurant and on our website.

· Continued Use: Continued use of our services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
